🛎️ Cloudbeds automates pricing and HiJiffy drops the FAQ

Also, Maestro PMS listens to spa staff and hotel owners get data dashboards

Hi friends, welcome to RemoteHotelier. Big week for independent hotels, and not just because of summer bookings ramping up. This week's updates show how fast the hotel infrastructure is evolving.

Let’s check in on what’s new in hotel tech this week.

💵 Cloudbeds bets on pricing automation

Cloudbeds brings revenue management closer to hoteliers with a new integration: TakeUp, a pricing automation platform focused on making dynamic rates accessible to smaller hotels.

Could this be related to the Cloudbeds Labs announcement from a few weeks ago?

The partnership allows TakeUp’s system to connect directly with Cloudbeds, giving hotels the ability to automate rate changes based on real-time data.

While not a full RMS, it helps independent hotels to catch up without needing deep expertise. For users who are still adjusting prices manually or copying competitor rates from OTAs, this could be a game-changer.

Cloudbeds is building toward this all-in-one system, and this is another piece of the puzzle. TakeUp brings a clean, user-friendly approach that fits neatly into their ecosystem.

🚀 Actabl launches ProfitOwner

Actabl just launched something hotel ownership groups might’ve been missing: a real-time dashboard called ProfitOwner.

Instead of waiting on reports or decoding asset manager spreadsheets, hotel owners can now get instant access to the most important portfolio metrics.

The dashboard gives clean visuals and easy filters across multi-property operations. Plus, there’s a customizable presentation mode to share branded updates with stakeholders.

The tool is integrated with Actabl’s suite, so it works out of the box with other modules from the same company.

💻 Dingus and Sihot simplify tour operator bookings

Handling tour operator bookings has always been a pain point for leisure focused hotels.

Now, SIHOT and Dingus want to change that. Their new integration lets bookings from tour operators flow straight into the PMS, without manual entries or Excel reconciliation.

For many hotels, this could mean faster processing, fewer errors, and less time wasted on backend admin.

Dingus already handles the data pipeline between travel agencies and hotels, while SIHOT offers robust PMS solutions for operations.

Together, they’re solving one of the industry’s most tedious task. The timing is smart, too: summer travel is nearly here, and properties working with OTA and tour operators need better automation.

🤖 HiJiffy’s new AI chatbot

HiJiffy, the Portuguese startup behind a conversational AI platform for hotels, has just unveiled Aplysia 3, its newest chatbot powered by Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

Unlike traditional bots that rely on pre-written FAQs, this version pulls from two editable documents:

  • A company knowledge base.

  • A property specific content.

It understands context, intent and even brand specific terms like restaurant names or event spaces. Hotel teams can update content in real time, and the chatbot instantly reflects the changes.

That’s a big deal for multi-property brands juggling different offerings. Replies can also be customized with the hotel’s tone, images and even action buttons.

It’s available at no extra cost to current HiJiffy customers. A solid upgrade from a company already used by over 2,000 hotels.

🧖‍♀️ Maestro PMS upgrades spa tools for hotels

Maestro PMS just dropped a major update to its Spa Module, and it’s going live at HITEC 2025.

The new features aim to reduce no-shows, improve staff scheduling and make spa operations smoother across the board.

Properties can now set up credit card pre-authorizations for spa-only guests, apply flexible deposit rules and manage therapist schedules more visually.

Guest messaging got an upgrade too. Guests can now get folios, confirmations and reminders via SMS or email, tied directly to spa bookings.

Maestro PMS worked closely with spa managers during development, making this a refresh based on real feedback.

That’s a wrap for today, thank you for reading.
