🔗 Booking is merging three B2B units into one
Booking Holdings is merging the separate B2B businesses of Agoda, Booking, and Priceline into a single platform called Booking Partner Services.
Agoda CEO Omri Morgenshtern will lead this new unit, and Priceline's B2B partners are already migrating onto the shared system. The full transition could run through the end of the year and possibly into 2027, and Booking's stated goal is to compete more directly with Expedia's larger unified B2B operation.
If you sell rooms through any of these B2B channels, expect some friction during the migration (if you haven’t already).
💰 Google pays $10 million for a bankrupt airline's data
Google agreed to pay $10 million for a chunk of bankrupt Spirit Airlines' business data, beating a $7.5 million bid from a company that supplies training data to AI labs.
The dataset includes employee emails, chats, financial records, operations data, website analytics, and loyalty program details.
A third party will deidentify the data before Google receives it, and Google says it won't get any personal information.
Experts say the real value is a full, structured view of how a major airline actually operates, something public web data and code can't teach an AI model.
Former Spirit flight attendants have already filed an objection in bankruptcy court, questioning whether the deidentification process can truly protect individual privacy.
If a dead budget airline's internal data is worth $10 million, think about what an average mid-size hotel chain's data could be worth.
Why would Google want to know who this data belongs to? They already have enough data about us anyway, don’t they? 😂
Modern Pricing Models Break Finance (And How to Fix It)
Usage-based and hybrid pricing models are reshaping B2B revenue and creating real complexity for finance teams. Tabs and PwC break down what it means for rev rec, forecasting, and ops. Watch the on-demand recording for practical frameworks you can actually use.
📊 Ever wonder where hotel revenue flows before it becomes profit?

Source: Scott Eddy’s LinkedIn
📊 I came across this resource on LinkedIn and wanted to share it, it breaks down exactly where the hotel revenue goes before anyone can call it profit.
Using an illustrative $20 million property as the example:
Rooms bring in $12.6M of that $20M, with F&B, events, spa, and parking making up the rest.
Then $15.9M is spent in operating expenses: labor, marketing, franchise fees, tech, insurance, etc.
That leaves $5.1M in gross operating profit.
But property taxes, debt service, and capital expenditures take another $3.45M before the owner sees a cent… leaving $1.4M, just 7% of the original revenue.
Suffice to say, the numbers aren’t necessarily accurate, but I love how the pipeline is represented.

INTEGRATIONS
🔌 Innspire integrates with Toast POS: letting hotels offer branded mobile food and beverage ordering across room dining, poolside service, and other property outlets. [Link]
🔌 Actabl and Reeco connect forecasting with procurement: the partnership feeds ProfitSword forecast data into Reeco's platform so purchases get flagged automatically when they run over budget. [Link]
PARTNERSHIPS
🤝 TRYBE partners with Rezcontrol: the integration lets guests book spa treatments alongside their room and pay for both in one checkout, with bookings syncing straight to the PMS. [Link]
Small integration, but it tackles a classic hotel spa revenue pain point: guests who never knew they could book ahead.
🤝 Delaware North expands its TipHaus partnership: the platform now automates tip pooling and distribution across more than 40 of the operator's venues, cutting what used to take a full day down to a couple of hours. [Link]
Tip management solutions in big hotels are a great idea because they help reconcile tips for taxes purposes, which can become a nightmare.
PRODUCT UPDATES
🆕 Yanolja rolls out its AI concierge globally: the tool uses eight specialized agents to handle everything from check-in to upselling, expanding from India to Thailand, the US, Malaysia, and Africa. [Link]
🆕 FCS Solutions launches FCS1 IRGS: a service tool that lets guests order in-room dining, request amenities, and report issues by scanning a QR code, routing each request straight into hotel operations for faster fulfillment. [Link]
