đď¸ Amadeus partners with Google, Agilysys breaks records and HITEC heats up
Also, Mews forms a board and Clock PMS simplifies operations
Hi friends, welcome to RemoteHotelier. This week brings record numbers, strategic partnerships and growing hype around HITEC 2025.
Curious how it all connects? Youâre in the right place. Letâs check in on whatâs new in hotel tech this week.
đ° Agilysys reports record earnings
Agilysys just closed its fiscal year with impressive results: $74.3 million in Q4 and a yearly revenue record of $275.6 million (a remarkable 20% increase from last year).
CEO Ramesh Srinivasan credits the consistent growth to new products, strong customer retention and expanding relationships with hotel groups.
Also worth noting: recurring revenue now makes up over 80% of the companyâs total. In SaaS terms, thatâs a very healthy signal.
âď¸ Amadeus goes all-in on AI with Google
After last week's acquisition, Amadeus isnât lifting its foot off the gas. Now itâs teaming up with Google Cloud to double down on AI and cloud infrastructure.
The partnership means Amadeus will modernize legacy systems and deliver faster services.
The impact could be more significant in Spain, where Amadeus is based, and where hotel tech may now get a serious boost in visibility and investment.
đ IRIS and Stayntouch gear up for HITEC 2025
Weâre still a few weeks out from HITEC 2025, but vendors are already starting to tease whatâs coming:
IRIS plans to show off its mobile ordering platform, built to boost convenience and upsell opportunities for hotel F&B.
Stayntouch will also be there with its cloud PMS designed to reduce friction at the hotel front desk.
Mark your calendar: HITEC 2025 lands in Indianapolis this June, from the 16th to the 19th. This is one of the biggest stages in hotel tech. A showcase where the newest innovations in hospitality come to play.
đ Clock PMSâs latest update
Clock PMS just rolled out an update focused on the nitty-gritty: better shift handover tools, faster night audit processes and automation for long stays.
One nice additional touch: the option to send payment links directly from the guestâs folio screen.
Fewer clicks and clearer workflows. Incremental progress counts.
đź Mews picks industry brains for new board
Mews announced its new Hospitality Industry Advisory Board, bringing together leaders from companies like Accor, Yotel and Highgate.
They want to use the knowledge to build tech that actually solves hotel problems.
The board will meet quarterly and focus on topics like guest experience, tech adoption and operational efficiency.
Building with feedback from the start is a really smart move. Itâs also a great example of applying a startup mindset in a traditional industry.
Thatâs a wrap for today, thank you for reading.
